So...Who are We ?
How about the basics....

We've both had a combined interest in both paranormal occurances and exploration for as long as we can remember. While Jim grew up exploring lost, abandoned and forgotten places in his native Massachusetts, I was doing the same in my home state of New Jersey...as in "Weird New Jersey."

We have also both lived in a few homes that have had their share of paranormal activity.
We feel privileged to have lived in such homes, because since we feel that while death closes one door, it also opens another, we are appreciative to those 'spirits' who make themselves known to us, giving us a better understanding that life does go on.

We do understand that there is a scientific explanation for  occurances thought to be 'paranormal', and we usually take those explanations into consideration during our research and investigations.
Neither of us claim to be psychics or mediums, although Jim has a gift for intuitiveness,
nor do we claim to be "Professionals" in this field of venture...or "Hobbyists" either.
We just share a natural love for the unknown, forgotten  and unexplored.

We have an open mind and laid-back attitude about our research, sightings and data that we've captured on both film and digital recorders. We are both drawn to the lure of abandoned places, and often wonder why half these places were abandoned, forgotten and left to ruin in the first place.

Because of our sincere interest in all things paranormal, strange and abandoned, in June of 2000, we created the Massachusetts Hauntings Society, which documented our investigations and research within the Massachusetts area.

After leaving Massachusetts to relocate to Texas in 2002,  we created our current site,
the Texas Hauntings Society, in which we have included documentation of past and current investigations, EVP research and plans for future ventures in the North Texas DFW area.
When time permits, we may explore outside our local area.

When Jim isn't working his real job, and I'm not creating art and photography
(pretending that I'm the next Andy Warhol),  we're spending time constantly renovating our little home, paying attention to all of our dogs, spending time with our new granddaughter,
being slaves to our computers researching everything that crosses our minds, among other things that we find intriguing.

But we can also be found exploring our local area in "Harvey",
(one of our old but still reliable trucks and companion to our adventures),
camera and recorder in hand.

We deeply appreciate and thank our web visitors for their continued support and feedback concerning Texas Hauntings Society.

Thanks for visiting our site, we look forward from hearing from you!
