Hughes Cemetery, Wylie TX (aka Kreymer Cemetery, New Wylie Cemetery)
Hughes Cemetery is located on East Oak Street, Wylie. It is also known as Kreymer Cemetery, and New Wylie Cemetery.
Except for the occasional barking dogs from nearby houses, (which quieted down after a short time), the neighborhood was incredibly quiet. Nobody outside doing yardwork, no children playing in the streets, even on a very warm November weekend, during our first visit.
The final resting place of an infant, who died in 1988.
Except for the voice of a young girl that showed up on our recordings afterwards, and the very strong feelings that Jim got when we stopped in front of the grave of a child, we were able to capture what we feel are Class A EVP activity here. Other voices we recorded sounded like men....which are listed on our "EVP" page. A few of those men sounded grumpy too, offering up swears as we recorded! But it was at a child's gravesite, that Jim suddenly received alot of feelings: feelings of fear, confusion, frustration. Understandable, this was a toddler that had died, a spirit still 'anchored' to this resting place, not understanding what was happening, or why..
While we captured nothing on film, we did record some good, clear EVP recordings....from what sounded like a few grouchy individuals! While stopping at the grave of a young child, Jim definitely felt a strong presence.. We also recorded an EVP of what we believe to be a child's voice. Our second return, on Jan. 9, 2008, is documented at the bottom of this page.

Update: January 9, 2008: We again visited the grave of the child that Jim had gotten strong feelings from, when we were last there in November. This time, it was made clear to him that this child was still frustrated that nobody could actually communicate, but yet resigned to be still 'anchored' here. We may return in the near future. Additional Update: In November and December of 2007, we received emails from serious individuals who had witnessed sightings here...that of a figure about 2 feet tall, hovering over a gravesite of a child.
The Usual DISCLAIMER: While we cannot take responsibility for the actions of others, we simply report our research, investigations, documentations and findings that we alone conduct. That said, it's best not to venture into a cemetery at night (in some areas, it's not allowed). Have respect for those interred in cemeteries, and don't do anything that will call attention to yourselves.
